Our Journey: How Truly Lifted Medspa Came to Be

Charisse Lin, the founder of Truly Lifted Medspa, traces her journey in the aesthetics industry back to her mother's work at Marie France in the Philippines, where they focused on body contouring and facial aesthetics. Witnessing the clients' happiness and transformations sparked Charisse's passion for aesthetics. As she pursued her nursing career, she realized her deep interest in this evolving field.


During her clinical rotations as an FNP student, Charisse had the privilege of learning from one of the city's top dermatologists, whose mentorship instilled in her the confidence to pursue dermatology. Over the past five years, Charisse has garnered extensive experience at a high-end medical spa in Austin, specializing in skincare, injectables, body treatments, and weight loss care.


Now, as she launches Truly Lifted Medspa, Charisse is excited to bring her expertise to Georgetown and the surrounding region. With her education, passion, and experience, Charisse is dedicated to providing the highest quality aesthetic and wellness care to all her clients.

Hi, I’m Debbie! Born and raised in Texas, I’ve always had a passion for helping people feel radiant and confident in their own skin.


When I’m not working, you can find me at my favorite Tex Mex spots—chips and salsa are my love language! And when it’s time to unwind, Cabo is my go-to escape. My husband and I stay busy with our two amazing kids and three adorable fur babies.

MEDICAL DIRECTOR

Hi, I'm Dr. Kennedy! I was raised in Fort Worth, TX. I attended Oklahoma Christian University for undergraduate studies, and then the University of Texas Medical Branch in Galveston, TX for medical school. I specialized in emergency medicine, completing a residency program in Temple, TX at Baylor Scott and White hospital. I have a wonderful and supportive wife, Kristen, and 2 children: Brenden and Adalyn. In my off-time I enjoy outdoor activities such as hiking and fishing, as well as watching hockey and playing games with my kids.

AESTHETIC NURSE PRACTITIONER 

Hi, I am Charisse and I have been a nurse for over ten years with five in the world of aesthetics as a nurse practitioner. Prior to moving to America, I remember my mother working for Marie France in the Philippines where they focused on body contouring and facial aesthetics. During my visits to her workplace, the clients always looked happy and slim.


 Once I began my nursing career, I realized that I had a deep passion for aesthetics and could eventually specialize in this ever-growing field. During my clinical rotations as an FNP student, I learned from one of the best dermatologists in the city and his mentorship gave me the confidence to pursue dermatology. For the past five year,s I have worked at a high-end medical spa in Austin where I have substantial experience in skin care, injectables, body treatments, and weight loss care. I am excited to start my own medical spa and begin serving Georgetown and the surrounding region. I believe with my education, passion, and experience I will be able to deliver the highest quality of aesthetic and wellness care to all of my clients.


I have two beautiful daughters with my husband Ken who is also a nurse practitioner. Our daughter’s names are June and Samantha and they truly are the light of our world. We spend our free time exploring the best of Texas and traveling the country. We all share a love for food and will travel far for a good barbecue!
